Kitchen's only get used once a day right?
Every house has an argument over how the kitchen needs to be done at some point, and why not make it a nice designer kitchen if you have the money. Do people really need the enormous kitchens they have? Do you really need one of those big fancy designer kitchens? I don't think that a kitchen should have that amount of money spent on it, however some of them look really worth the money. So why do people spend so much money on kitchens that they use to cook in, really only once a day in? I couldn't tell you if I was being really honest

The reason I think that is behind why people want such big kitchens is simply because they like impressing their friends, looking at some of the designs I can see why they would want one.
A lot of the time in a party situation it is where everyone starts the evening. I’ll say again I’ve got no idea why this happens either but it does and the first thing to happen is that everyone will comment or think on how good or bad your kitchen looks. It's unfortunate that is what we do as humans, we wan't to be better than everyone else. How much money do you have to spend on a new kitchen before people will start seeing it as a really unique, modern, well designed kitchen?
A decision in my house has still not been made to extend the kitchen to make space for a bigger one. I don’t think I ever will see the point in having a huge kitchen. The kitchen is usually only used to cook dinner in my house so the thing is an expensive kitchen would be quite a silly investment. How come after a party everyone wants a bigger kitchen? People care about the opinions of their friends and family, thats why and I have never understood that. What size ball is generally used on jewelry for a Monroe piercing?
I've seen 3mm used but I was wondering if a smaller size could be used.
It's not a good idea to use balls that are smaller than 1/8" (3.2mm) for the initial piercing. Any smaller than that, and you run the risk of your lip swelling OVER the ball, effectively "eating" the jewelry. This is very painful and can leave unsightly scars. Once the swelling has gone down (roughly 3 weeks) you can downsize to a smaller ball or gem - a healed monroe piercing can accommodate fronts as small as 1mm.

The shopping experience is getting more "Minority Report"-ish by the day, what
with innovations like digital billboards that know your age and gender and
serve up ads accordingly.
Now Samsung is looking to buy into the future-of-retail space with a
transparent LCD panel that can be used to dramatically enhance kiosks, store
windows, and billboards with text and images that do fancy tricks like rotate
and fade in and out rather than just sit there. Think bus shelters with see-
through walls displaying scrolling schedules and clothing shop windows that
feature models sashaying down the catwalk.
Yesterday in San Francisco, the company showed CNET a 22-inch transparent LCD
panel built into a display case housing a Samsung Galaxy Tab. That size panel
has already gone into production, with a 46-incher on the way.
