Then again a slalom skier, braving a mountain top, does want the shelter, to withstand these harsher surroundings as he skis down the icy mountain slopes. A person ice skating, needs something elastic and possible moisture eliminating, to prevent sweating from the fast paced motion. So there isn't a one type suits all situation when it comes to the proper selection of winter clothing. Like they say different strokes for different folks.
The problem appears to be that there is so much choice, from so many diverse manufacturers, that you can't be confident that you are on the right track, if you just choose something willy nilly from the rack.
This is when it becomes key to really recognize a brand that you could trust and be assured of using.
