The Right Shoes Will Look After Your Feet
Many people are troubled by foot problems for one main reason. Ill fitting shoes.
Blisters, neuromas and aching joints are all conditions that can be alleviated by choosing footwear that fits and is right for what you want to do. For your feet to function as they are supposed to you need to choose shoes that fit.
In the course of an average day we will each walk around 10,000 steps and each time the foot hits the ground it must withstand the concentrated weight of your whole body. Our feet must adapt, as we walk, to varied terrains and surfaces. The foot then tightens and becomes tense in order to propel the body forward. There are some fantastic shoes designed to withstand this repeated cycle of use. For example, walking shoes will often have very strong rigid soles that are good for even the roughest terrain.
A factor that many people overlook when shopping for shoes is the natural swelling of the feet that takes place throughout the day. The primary cause of swelling is gravity. If you are in a line of work that keeps you on your feet all day you will probably be painfully aware of how much your feet can swell during the course of the day. As fluids build up your shoes can feel increasingly tight and uncomfortable. This can be alleviated by putting your feet up periodically throughout the day.
If your shoes are too small then they will become increasingly painful as your feet swell through the day. Shoes that are too narrow or too short for your feet will be bound to give you pain. Ideally we should all have our feet regularly sized. So when shopping for shoes be certain to make an allowance for the swelling that will inevitably take place. As a rule you should ensure that there is about a fingers width of space, inside the shoe, in front of your big toe.
Many of us, these days, buy our clothes and shoes online. Not trying on shoes before buying them can lead to problems as sizes can vary greatly between manufacturers. The trick here is to go into a shoe store and try on the style and make of shoes that you want and then find them online at a cheaper price. This may not be popular with your local shoe stores but you can be more confident that, when your shoes arrive, they will fit.
A well fitted pair of shoes should never need to be worn in. If your shoes fit properly and they are appropriate for what you are doing in them then they should feel comfortable.
Choosing the right shoes for the right job is imperative. It would be mad to attempt a marathon in a pair of six inch stilettos. Simply standing in a pair of six inch stillettos is more than I could ever do. But they have their place. If you spend all day on your feet then choose comfortable, ideally flat lace up shoes that are generously sized.
A form of footwear that has become ubiquitous in recent years is, of course, trainers and skate shoes. There are a great variety of sports shoes in a variety of style, some designed for specific applications like jogging on concrete surfaces. Vans shoes and DC shoes are two notable brands with an excellent reputation for robustness, comfort and long life. I'm a great lover of trainers and will probably be wearing a pair when I finally shuffle off this mortal coil. There are so many cool styles and colors available today that you shouldn't have any trouble finding some that not only fit well but look great.

you can go with the traditional way to doing them going side by side from the toes to the ankle, or just make your own, as long as the laces keep the tongue in and the top is tight enough to hold your feet you should be good
