Where can I buy wheels for inline/roller hockey skates? And should the wheels be diff. sizes or all the same?
There are many places to get wheels. If you have a local hockey shop, they will cost a little more but the people there may be able to match wheel types to your type of skating and skates.
www.InlineWarehouse.com is a reputable online shop that has a lot of wheels.
www.RollerBob.com is a very reputable online shop but his stock of roller hockey wheels is smaller than Inline Warehouse.
Your wheels need to have the same size arrangement as the skates were designed for. Time to pull out the manual for the skates or find a shop that knows the skates.
If you have different sizes, you can change the sizes as long as you enlarge/reduce the size by the same for each wheel.
If you change the size pattern without understanding the contact pattern of the wheels the skates is designed for, you can make for flakey skate control or skates that want to go straight too much.
